With its delicate structure, jewelry is highly sensitive to abrasion and chemical attack. Mother-of-pearl and natural stones are particularly sensitive to all cosmetic products (soap, hairspray, perfume, etc.), so you should only put on your jewelry after a minimum of 30 minutes after using any cosmetic product, until the volatile compounds have evaporated.
